"Headed
to Cabo on the bouncy boats with Jim and JoEllen, pretty smooth
ride. Lots of shops all very new and updated and very clean. We did
not take a tour here... just did lots of walking and looking.Jim
ask if I was taking a selfie, and Jo said no she was taking a
picture of us!!

And here come two
tenders back to the ship. Someone must have rung the dinner bell.

Cabo San Lucas is the
only port on this cruise that we had to go ashore on one of the
ship's 'tenders'. They are lifeboats that are powered, and
serve as shuttles or 'tenders' at ports not large enough or that
don't have space enough for us at the pier.
Cabo is at the
southern tip of Baja California, and is a very popular place for
tourists. It is growing like a weed. To drive from here to San Diego
can take more than 12 hours on less than pristine highways.
Outcroppings that are the southern
most part of Baja. Cabo lies to the right.

"This
painting was one of John's favorites, He thought I should paint
something like this for the house.
We'll see!"
