Cruises generally schedule at least two "Formal Nights" where you dress "formally" to eat dinner in one of the Dining Rooms. We had two "Formal Nights" in the ten days of the cruise, and on the second one, we arranged for a picture-taking session with the ship photographers. They arranged us in the center of the ship, deck five, (Plaza Deck), in what is referred to as the Piazza (used to just be the Atrium, but Piazza sounds fancier I suppose). This area is open for three decks, with "grand" circular staircases climbing up for two decks. The photographer for this shot was standing on deck six  looking down at us. Feel free to copy the image, or just ask Ken and he can send you a digital .jpg file for your usage.

When the class cruises, we set the evening dinner hour as the only "scheduled" time that we are together. The rest of the day or evening is entirely unscheduled. We expressed how much importance it was to us that all of the classmates be able to join together for dinner. It is the only real time to see everyone, with individual excursions when in port, etc.. We invited the guests to join us as part of our 'family' at the dinner hour, or the guests were free to make other plans, if they so desire, as long as the classmates were together. Our thanks to the wonderful guests of the classmates that joined us each evening. It made the cruise so much more enjoyable for the classmates. We shared three tables for eight and a table for four that were adjacent to each other, and we sat at a different table each evening, allowing us to be able to be with most of the members at least once. As always, it was the highlight ot the cruise. We enjoyed meeting and getting to know the guests that joined us. And to them we want to thank you for making it work so well.
